Opened in 1955, the Aiguille du Midi cable car is a feat of engineering that connects Chamonix to one of the highest peaks in the French Alps. With an impressive cable length of 5.8 km, it holds the world record for the greatest vertical drop for a cable car: nearly 2,800 meters.

• The cable car can serve the Aiguille du Midi, Brévent or Flégère , depending on the technical or weather conditions of the day.

• No refunds will be made for transport , even in the event of cancellation of high altitude activities.
